National Park Alerts and Current Conditions
Before you drive to a national park, it's worth knowing what's closed. This page links to a current alerts and conditions page for every U.S. national park: road and trail closures, campground and visitor center status, construction, fire and flood warnings, and the seasonal changes coming up in the next few weeks.
I check every park against its National Park Service alerts each day and rewrite a park's page whenever something changes. Each page shows the date it was last checked and explains what the current closures mean for a one- to three-day visit, not just what's closed. Conditions can change in an hour, so still check the park's own alerts the morning you go.
